OUR MISSION
We are a community that is based on the grace of God, whereby He matures the believers and displaces the unbelievers through the power of the Holy Spirit in Codlea, Brașov, and the surrounding communities in the kingdom.
OUR CREED

The Bible is the Word of God, inspired and infallible, the only authority that governs our faith and practice (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:19, 21)
​
There is one God, eternal and all-sufficient in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, worthy of love, honor and worship in equal measure. (1 John 5:7; Mt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:13)
​
Through their disobedience, Adam and Eve fell from the righteous state from the beginning and thus became dead in sin. This state was transmitted and attributed to all mankind. (Gen. 3:6-8; Gen. 6:5; Rom. 3:10-18, 23; Eph. 2:1)

The Sovereign God, by His love and grace alone, has chosen sinners from every nation, for salvation, through the power of the Holy Spirit, through the atoning death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. (John 3:8; Rom. 8:30; Rom. 9:11; Eph. 2:1-5; 2 Thes. 2:13-14; 2 Tim. 1:9-10)

Sinners awakened by the Holy Spirit, believe in Jesus Christ as the Savior through the Word of God, are born again, become children of God and cannot lose salvation. (John 10:28; Acts 10:44; Rom. 10:14, 17; Eph. 1:5; 2 Cor. 6:18; Phil. 1:6)

Justification is only by faith, so the sinner is clothed in the righteousness of Christ in an unmerited way. (Acts 26:18; Rom. 3:28;
Rom. 4:25; Eph. 2:8; Gal. 2:16; Phil. 3:9)

The purpose of God's salvation in the life of the Christian is holiness, good works and ministry, all for the glory of God. (John 15:8;
John 17:17; 1 Cor. 6:11; Eph. 5:26; 2 Cor. 7:1; 1 Thes. 5:23; Heb.13:21; James 2:18-22; 1 John 2:3, 5; 2 Pet. 1:5-10)

After death, the soul of the Christian reaches the presence of God and the soul of the unbeliever will be separated for eternity from God. (Luke 23:43; 2 Cor. 5:1, 6, 8; Luke 16:23, 24)

Baptism is the sign of the covenant with God, it is given to children, whose parents are believers, but also to those who come to faith in Jesus as adults. (Mark 1:4; Mt. 3:11, Mt. 28:19, 20; John 1:33; Acts 16:33; 1 Cor. 12:12; Rom. 4:11; Rom. 6:3, 4; Col. 2:11, 12; Gal. 3:27)

Jesus Christ will return to earth, in the body, in a visible, unexpected way, for His eternal plan to be fulfilled. (Mt. 25:31-46; Luke 21:27-28; Mark 13:35, 37; Rev. 22:20)
The gospel of God's salvation in Jesus Christ must be preached to the whole world as a testimony until the return of Jesus Christ.
Meet the elders
Maurice Sikes
Maurice is an ordained Presbyterian minister with the Presbyterian Church in America. He and his wife Jo Ann are missionaries with Reformed Evangelistic Fellowship. Maurice has been married to Jo Ann for 42 years. They have three sons and four grandchildren. Maurice is a licensed real estate agent with 14 years experience, has been trained by the University of Toronto as a teacher of English as a foreign language, and he is Vice President of ADDIP - AsociaÈ›ia Dezvoltare Durabilă È™i Întegrare Profesională, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping teenage orphans develop life skills for future success. Maurice and Jo Ann have lived in Romania since Jan. 2012.
Dan Apreotesei
Dan is husband to Monica and has a passion for the church and youth of all ages. Dan is an Expert Accountant and has been successfully managing his own firm for the past 20 years. Dan grew up in Codlea, and currently lives in Brasov. Dan has been serving the youth of Codlea since 2005, with Monica and a team of others, by initiating a kids club that meets weekly to share the truth of the Biblical message of grace.
Derek Ebbers
Derek is a husband to Shannon and father of five children. Derek served as a firefighter/EMT-A in Canada for 9 years before moving to the United States to manage a beef cattle operation and work as a residential satellite technician for 3 years. Derek studied Swedish Massage, is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor in Europe awarded by the Romanian Minister of Education. Derek also is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Masters Degree in Applied Exercise Science and a passion to see everyone pursue wellness for mind, body, and soul. Derek and Shannon have been serving in Romania since July 2007 with Mission to the World.
